Comarch (and ngena) named “Visionary” in Gartner’s “Magic Quadrant”

Great news for our technology partner Comarch – and for ngena!

The global provider of end-to-end BSS/OSS solutions has announced last week that it has been positioned in the Visionary Quadrant in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Integrated Revenue and Customer Management (IRCM), with a positive evaluation of its BSS portfolio completeness, modularity and standard-based architecture. The report ‘Gartner Magic Quadrant for Integrated Revenue and Customer Management’ rates solution suites that provide billing, customer care, rating, charging, pricing, partner relationship management, policy management, mediation, self-service, analytics and others, which are referred to as IRCM in the report. And the authors of the study explicitly also name ngena as one of the reasons, why Comarch has been rated as “visionary”.

Jouni Forsman, Amresh Nandan and Norbert J. Scholz, the authors of the report, see Comarch’s main strengths as being:

– A comprehensive product portfolio and a well-defined roadmap of continually evolving features and functionalities.

– The development of global, multitenant, multicounty and multiservice environment operating platforms as the business support system (BSS)/OSS partner of Next Generation Enterprise Network Alliance (ngena) and in conjunction with network equipment supplier Cisco.

– The evolution of its product portfolio, in line with industry standards and through in-house development, instead of acquiring components from outside, leading to a well-integrated portfolio.

Małgorzata Siwiec, Marketing Director at Comarch, says: “We are delighted that Gartner has recognised Comarch as a Visionary in their Magic Quadrant for Integrated Revenue and Customer Management 2017. Our comprehensive BSS/ OSS portfolio combines out of the box functionality with high configurability, enabling customers to shape Comarch’s solutions and tailor them to their company’s own unique requirements, strategy and budget. And looking forward, Comarch also has a strong product road map and vision that address key CSP initiatives, such as over-the-top (OTT), M2M and industry verticals, to grow revenue and improve operational efficiency and customer experience.”

Marcus Hacke, Managing Director at ngena, stated: “We are really proud to have contributed to this great result that our technology partner, Comarch, has achieved. The Gartner evaluation shows that Comarch and ngena have created something really innovative and special in the market.”
