ngena presented at ProcureCon IT Europe

A special conference for IT procurement professionals themed “Transforming IT Procurement. Together” took place December 06 – 07, 2017 at Park Plaza, Amsterdam. According to the organizers, “ProcureCon IT Europe is the only peer-led event bringing together 150+ senior cross-industry IT procurement professionals from Europe’s top IT spenders.” Aim of this forum is to “provide a clear picture on how to better position your company’s IT procurement team for success.”

The agenda included renowned speakers from Capgemini, ING, BNP Parisbas Fortis, BP, Atos and many more, that were giving a “benchmark on collaborative, value driven and innovative IT procurement solutions”, including topics like “software licensing and contracting”, “protecting your data in the cloud”, “managing mobility and telecom services” and giving “best practice strategies for strengthening relationships with suppliers”.

ngena founder and Managing Director Marcus Hacke presented in front of ca. 70 procurement specialists, how ngena’s innovative business model can help companies to modernize their VPN networks and how they can benefit from software-defined wide area network (SD-WAN) infrastructures, that ngena is offering to end-customers via their alliance partners. His case study titled “Trends in Telecommunications – How can IT Procurement take advantage of changes brought on by new Technologies and Software Defined Networking?” initiated an intensive discussion amongst the IT-procurement specialists and received a positive feedback.

“I was positively surprised about the high level of interest that arouse when presenting the ngena SD-WAN approach”, Marcus said. “The discussion was very professional and the feedback from the attending industry specialists really positive.”
