ngena presents at Total Telecom Congress 2017 next week

ngena’s MDs Marcus Hacke and Alessandro Adriani will be taking part in one of the major telecommunication industry events that is about to happen next week: the Total Telecom Congress 2017 in London. Taking place 31 October – 1 November, the Congress brings together 400+ senior decision-makers to discuss strategy and opportunities in this dynamic industry. The focus of the agenda is on what the industry thinks about new business models, strategic opportunities and how innovations in technology are enabling a new more customer-centric approach to emerge.

Across two days, featuring over 120 speakers, the Congress explores the biggest issues that the telecoms industry faces. It is a space where industry leaders can have a joined-up discussion about issues ranging from understanding the digital telco to delivering winning customer-centric business models, etc. Prominent speakers will include Tony Poulos, Managing Editor, DisruptiveViews, Bruno Jacobfeuerborn, Chief Technology Officer, Deutsche Telekom and Yogesh Malik, Group CTO, VEON.

On October 31 at 16:20pm, Marcus Hacke, Founder & Managing Director of ngena, will speak about “A NEW APPROACH TO DELIVER GLOBAL SD WAN SOLUTIONS TO ENTERPRISES“. He will be exploring ngena’s progress in delivering hybrid VPN services worldwide, based on our shared network approach and the role that SDN and NFV, service orchestration and process automation plays in this game.

Jörg Wassink

From August 2017 until June 2019, Jörg was the Head of Marketing at Frankfurt-based telecommunications start-up ngena, the ‘Next Generation Enterprise Network Alliance’, where he is responsible for building a global brand for the international telco alliance. Before joining ngena, he worked as Head of Communications Central Europe at British Cloud software vendor Sage Group plc for more than 10 years. From 2004 to 2007 he acted as Director Internal & External Communications at British telco operator COLT Telecom. Jörg, who holds a Master of Arts in Philosophy and Comparative Literature, started his career as a journalist for the German IT-business magazine iCONOMY.
