Olaf Swantee is CEO at Sunrise since May 2016. He spent his early career in IT, before moving into telecommunications at Orange. He became Executive Vice-President at Orange-France Telecom and sat on the EE board before taking over as Chief Executive. During H1 2014, he has accepted a non-executive board role in Legal & General, one of the largest financial services companies in the FTSE 100. He transformed EE from a joint venture of a #3 and #4 into an industry leader and increased its enterprise value by 4B£. The company was sold to BT in the beginning of Feb. 2015 for 12.5B£. Olaf was named CEO of the Year at the World Communication Awards in 2013.
