Bart de Graaff
Bart de Graaff joined ngena as the Managing Director in May 2019. In this role, Bart works with the ngena team to elevate partner and end-customer experience along with realizing sustainable growth by continuous business development and introducing new value-added services to the platform. Prior to joining ngena, Bart spent over 20 years working with global consultancies and IT powerhouses. For 12 years, he was the managing director at Accenture, running cloud sales, solution and operations as well as creating digital and data-driven client programs. He also worked in enterprise architecture at Perot Systems Corp. Bart is passionate about helping companies and teams exceed their own expectations and prides himself in finding unique alternatives to challenges by utilizing new and proven technology. He joined ngena because he wanted to be a part of innovating the core of any digital business: the network.
Dr. Marcus Hacke
Marcus developed the idea and concept behind ngena, and has been the company’s Managing Director since its formation in February 2016. From 2004 until then, he worked at Deutsche Telekom Group where he held several managerial positions in Sales, Delivery and Product Management. In these roles, his responsibilities included global provisioning and operations of telecommunications solutions, as well as the development of a global IT portfolio. Before joining Deutsche Telekom, Marcus spent seven years in the industry as a business consultant with McKinsey & Company, focusing on the IT and telecommunications industries. Marcus holds a doctorate in physics, and recently won the Network Transformation Awards 2018 for “Individual Achievements” for his contribution to the ongoing global network transformation process and his achievements in the SDN world.
Chris Burke joined ngena as Chief Commercial Officer in July 2020. Chris has spent almost 40 years in the Telecommunications, IT and Technology industries in a very International career. Having held both Senior Technical and General Management responsibilities in a Telecoms Equipment Manufacture (Nortel), Fixed Line Carrier (Energis), Wireless Service Provider company (Vodafone), and a User Equipment Manufacturer (RIM). After graduating from university in 1982 with a Bachelor of Computer Science, Chris spent 15 years with Bell Northern Research (R&D for Northern Telecom) and Nortel holding a variety of roles in software development, operations and ultimately Sales, working across North America, Europe and Asia. From 1997 to 2000 Chris was CTO at Energis Communications, forming part of the executive team that led Energis through IPO and into the FTSE 40. From 2001 to 2005, Chris worked at Vodafone, where he was Vodafone’s first Chief Technology Officer (CTO) responsible for Vodafone UK’s technology, product architecture, design, procurement, development, support and operations. Chris’s last position in a public company was as Managing Director for Research in Motion (RIM) in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) departing in 2009. Since 2009 Chris has spent most of his time developing early stage Companies in his Investment Portfolio and assisting more mature Companies through his Advisory Business.
Maja Grätz joined ngena in August 2020 as the new Chief Operating Officer. She is a transformational leader with 20 years of experience in Consulting and Telco. Prior to ngena, she worked for Accenture, Liberty Global, Unitymedia and Vodafone in senior executive roles always with a focus on bringing global teams to high performance. Maja is passionate about simplifying complex matters and bridging the gap between technology and business. At ngena she will scale up operations, putting ngena’s customers first.
Kellerey Lohman joined ngena as the interim Chief Marketing Officer in July 2020. Kellerey is responsible for leading all aspects of the Global Marketing organization, which includes Corporate Marketing, Partner, Product and Field Marketing. She brings 2 decades of marketing and management experience to ngena. She’s been leading teams and shaping corporate narratives for some of the most innovative and disruptive companies from the Fortune 100 to start-ups all over the world. Kellerey has served on the American Marketing Association’s Board of Directors and has spoken around the country as a leading authority on digital marketing strategies and cutting-edge technology solutions. Her innovative ideas and expressive personality keep her in the creative and strategy mix at all levels of the organization. She’s worked and lived in Europe, South America, Australia, Asia and Africa. She now calls Denver, Colorado home.
