Bart de Graaff

Bart de Graaff is Managing Director and CEO of ngena.

Prior to joining ngena in May 2019, Bart spent over 20 years working with global consultancies and IT powerhouses. He served as Managing Director at Accenture for 12 years, leading Cloud Sales, Solutions, and Operations, as well as creating digital and data-driven client programs. He also worked in enterprise architecture at Perot Systems Corp.

Bart has a passion for helping companies and teams to exceed their own expectations, and he has been delivering on this philosophy at ngena, establishing it as the premiere SD-WAN as a Service provider in the industry. He prides himself in finding unique alternatives to challenges by utilizing new and proven technology. This led him to join ngena because he wanted to be a part of innovating the core of any digital business and our always-on, always-connected world: the network

Bart and the ngena team work with a strong focus on to elevating partner and end-customer experiences as well as achieving sustainable global growth. Bart champions a model of  continuous business development and innovation, leveraging the latest technologies and new ideas to expand the boundaries of what’s possible and introduce new value-added services to the ngena connectivity platform that help clients meet the challenges of the digital era.

On a personal note, Bart has three pillars that motivate him to go the extra mile: his family with wife Shirin and their “fantastic four” daughters, the inspiration provided by Mother Nature and the outdoors, and technology as a power to transform lives and help drive humanity’s innovation.

Dr. Marcus Hacke

Marcus Hacke developed the idea and concept behind ngena. He is Managing Director since the company’s formation in February 2016 and acting as CTO. From 2004 until then, he worked at Deutsche Telekom Group where he held several managerial positions in Sales, Delivery and Product Management. In these roles, his responsibilities included global provisioning and operations of telecommunications solutions, as well as the development of a global IT portfolio. Before joining Deutsche Telekom, Marcus spent seven years in the industry as a business consultant with McKinsey & Company, focusing on the IT and telecommunications industries. Marcus holds a doctorate in physics, and recently won the Network Transformation Awards 2018 for “Individual Achievements” for his contribution to the ongoing global network transformation process and his achievements in the SDN world.


Miguel Rodriguez

Miguel Rodriguez joined ngena in July 2019. He is a communicator and a humanitarian. For more than 30 years from early beginnings he has been an expert in communications. Creating and producing success for others through messages that reached emotions and resulted in positive conducts towards the target and objectives. With a Masters in Telecommunications Miguel’s passion evolves in the Tech World. During his lifetime work in the field of Marketing and Communications he has been in center stage for big corporations, governments and Presidents and much more. Miguel has founded more than five companies that all articulated in an Image group that grew in the mind of many clients. Some years ago his passion took him to launch a self conceived NGO to rescue children and an amazing impact was the result of such effort. At ngena he continues to develop ideas and mostly creates, his biggest strength, in a world where creativity is the main driver to success.


Joerg Gimmler

Coming with more than 25 years’ of extensive experience, Joerg Gimmler is heading the operations and service delivery at ngena from the inception of the company in 2016. In this role he is responsible for operational relations with network service providers and logistic partners worldwide, service fulfilment and assurance as well as the operations for service and infrastructure. Prior to ngena, Joerg worked for Deutsche Telekom Group as Vice President Platform Operations from 2004 to 2016. During this time, he established Deutsche Telekom’s global MPLS fulfilment, assurance and vendor management organisations. He also looked after trusted customer relations on CIO level with large corporates. Before joining Deutsche Telekom, Joerg held senior positions in the fields of engineering, planning, contract and product management with telcos and telco suppliers from around the world.


Yavor Nedkov

Yavor Nedkov is the Head of Quality Assurance and Testing at ngena since January 2020, overseeing a team of highly skilled QA and Process professionals. His primary objective is ensuring the right quality standards and processes are in place to meet and exceed ngena’s customer expectations. Yavor joined the company in 2017 as a Process Architect and a year later took the role of BSS/OSS Product owner and Co-Lead of Business IT and Processes division. Before joining ngena, he worked for two years at the European Central Bank (ECB) as an external consultant, where he was heavily involved in designing, implementing, streamlining and continually improving the IT Service management process landscape, based on ITIL best practices. Prior to ECB, he spent eight years at Hewlett-Packard, working in the areas of IT support, IT Service Management and project management. During that time, he had number of roles, including managerial and leadership positions. Yavor holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Bachelor of Business Administration. He has been awarded professional certificates in IT service Management and Project Management such as ITIL Expert, Prince 2 Practitioner and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.


Geoff Perfect

Spanning over twenty-five years, Geoff has had a successful global sales leadership career working in executive positions in the largest technology companies in the world. With a desire to see the world, Geoff started his career in the Canadian Foreign Service in Bangkok, Thailand but quickly pivoted to the technology space to establish and lead Harris Corporation’s Thailand business. From there, Geoff was posted to Reading, UK to head up Harris’ Western European sales. Geoff then returned to his native Canada as Vice President of Sales for the then burgeoning start-up, Nuance Communications. He was part of the team that IPO’d Nuance as one of the most successful IPOs in 2000. Blackberry was Geoff’s next calling in 2004 and he led the global sales team that focused on the largest Blackberry accounts and made Blackberry a household name. He and the team regularly called on GE, Goldman Sachs, Fedex and United Airlines to name a few. Apple recruited Geoff from Blackberry and he set up and led the first iPhone enterprise sales team based in Cupertino. From those humble beginnings, Geoff managed multiple lines of business at Apple, culminating with him leading the global SMB business that was generating multi billion dollars in annual revenue. During his 8 and a half years at Apple, Geoff was often in China and Japan and across Latin America setting up the B2B sales teams in those countries. In the last two years, Geoff and his family moved to London, England with Geoff leading global sales for Workplace by Facebook. With triple digit growth, Geoff grew this business to multi-million dollars in annual recurring revenue.

Oliver Hübner

Oliver Hübner is Head of Sales Enablement at ngena since March 2021. Oliver has been part of ngena since its foundation in 2016. During this time, he served ngena in different executive roles in Business Operations, Strategy and Contract Management. Before ngena, he worked for Deutsche Telekom’s Center for Strategic Projects where he successfully led several transformation programs and initiatives. Before that, he oversaw corporate strategy development and implementation at Vodafone. Prior to Vodafone, he worked for Accenture Consulting where he successfully optimized various telecommunication operators’ processes. Oliver started his career at Lucent Technologies as a system engineer, where he was responsible for selling and implementing IP Services solutions for different customers. He holds a Diploma in Electrical Engineering from TU Braunschweig and an MBA from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management.

Consulting and Teleco

Maja Grätz

Maja Grätz joined ngena in August 2020 as the new Chief Operating Officer. She is a transformational leader with 20 years of experience in Consulting and Telco. Prior to ngena, she worked for Accenture, Liberty Global, Unitymedia and Vodafone in senior executive roles always with a focus on bringing global teams to high performance. Maja is passionate about simplifying complex matters and bridging the gap between technology and business. At ngena she will scale up operations, putting ngena’s customers first.


Dr. Marion Bourgeois

Marion Bourgeois joined ngena as Chief ‘Heart’ Officer in January 2021 and is leading the Global Human Resources department. She is enabling all evolutionary steps to ensure working at ngena feels even more awesome for each individual employee.

With more than 20 years of experience in the Telecommunications Industry, Marion held several leadership roles and drove leadership development programs. She started her own start-up in 2016 and became a partner of Oxford Leadership. In these roles Marion supported companies to develop future driving cultures and embody leadership strengths as the key to success.

Marion holds a PhD in physics from the University Düsseldorf, Institute St. Louis.

Besides leadership development in nearly every waking hour, she is very fond of dancing (specifically Salsa & Argentinean Tango) and skiing.


Dietmar Geiler

Dietmar Geiler has always played an integral and important role at ngena and is Chief Platform Officer since January 2021. Starting from the foundation of ngena in 2016, he has steered the company on various areas: Product Management, Solution Architecture, Pricing, Bid Management, Carrier Management and Sourcing Management. In his new role, he drives key business priorities for the ngena platform evolution and conduct customer centric sequencing and realization of ngena platform services and features. Prior to ngena, Dietmar worked for over 15 years at Deutsche Telekom Group where he owned as a Senior Executive various responsibility in Product and Portfolio Management of Global LAN & Campus Networks, ICT Security Services and Global Voice & Data Services. He began his career immediately after studying communications engineering at BT Deutschland / VIAG Interkom as a technical consultant when setting up a new telecommunications provider.

Chris Burke

Chris Burke joined ngena as Chief Commercial Officer in July 2020. Chris has spent almost 40 years in the Telecommunications, IT and Technology industries in a very International careerHaving held both Senior Technical and General Management responsibilities in a Telecoms Equipment Manufacture (Nortel), Fixed Line Carrier (Energis), Wireless Service Provider company (Vodafone), and a User Equipment Manufacturer (RIM). After graduating from university in 1982 with a Bachelor of Computer Science, Chris spent 15 years with Bell Northern Research (R&D for Northern Telecom) and Nortel holding a variety of roles in software development, operations and ultimately Sales, working across North America, Europe and Asia. From 1997 to 2000 Chris was CTO at Energis Communications, forming part of the executive team that led Energis through IPO and into the FTSE 40. From 2001 to 2005, Chris worked at Vodafone, where he was Vodafone’s first Chief Technology Officer (CTO) responsible for Vodafone UK’s technology, product architecture, design, procurement, development, support and operations. Chris’s last position in a public company was as Managing Director for Research in Motion (RIM) in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) departing in 2009.  Since 2009 Chris has spent most of his time developing early stage Companies in his Investment Portfolio and assisting more mature Companies through his Advisory Business.   



Carlo Canevari

Carlo Canevari joined ngena as Head of Product Management in January 2021. After experiences in Accenture and Pirelli Optical Systems, Carlo spent 21 years at Cisco, with leadership roles within engineering, operations and product management. He was part of the Cisco team created in 2016 to support ngena’s birth and growth. At ngena Carlo owns product definition and lifecycle management for all the products belonging to our Solution, being the bridge between our portfolio strategy and our powerful engineering execution machine. Carlo is a professional with a focus on digital transformation, cloud computing, software, dev-ops and related business models regarding partnerships, go to market, business development and sales. He holds a Master degree with honors in Software Engineering from the University of Pavia.

Cleber Viana

Cleber Viana joined ngena as the head of the Americas in July 2019. In this role, Cleber works with the ngena Americas team to develop the global vision with the local market’s attention, care for our partners, end-customers by developing local capabilities and value-added services. Before ngena, Cleber spent over 20 years working in Accenture Infrastructure and Telecommunications industries, helping clients and partners to evolve their business to face new market challenges. During the last 5 years, he was the Managing Director responsible for Consulting Practice in Cloud, DevOps, and Digital Data-Driven transformation. Cleber is a team builder and a tech-savvy passionate to make significant transformations and achieve major goals. He joined ngena because of the opportunity to disrupt a market and transform the way people and companies connect.


Shivaraja Gowda

Shiva Gowda is the Head of Platform Development at ngena since March 2020. In this role, he is responsible for planning and roadmap development of ngena’s platform activates related to infrastructure, engineering, network, business IT, security and is in charge of running its global platform. Shiva joined the ngena team in early 2017 as Lead Enterprise Architect to roll out its business IT platform. Since then he has been working with ngena’s technology and telecommunication partners to integrate their IT platforms with ngena’s to ensure smooth and timely delivery of SD-WAN services. Prior to joining ngena, Shiva worked with Orga Systems/Redknee Inc., a leading vendor of customer care and billing solutions, where he helped the organization establish Consulting & Delivery Centres in Malaysia and India and delivered projects globally. Shiva holds Master’s in Business Administration from Edinburgh Napier University and Bachelor’s in Computer Science & Engineering from University BDT College of Engineering, Davangere.
